Once again, gorgeous pictures! My name is Amy Rhoads in Provo, Utah and I happened to just find your blog. I am in to photography, but you have got me beat by a long shot. Your work is beautiful. What type of camera do you use? I am looking at buying a Nikon D40X... Do you ever give lessons??

Amy, thanks so much for your comments. I shoot with a Nikon D80 w/50 mm 1.4 lens. Love the body, love the lens! I started out with the D40, though. Great camera, just one problem. If you want to upgrade lenses, auto focus is not compatible. I wish someone had told me that before I bought Mr. D40. Thankfully, I was able to sell it & get my D80. So, if you're wanting to shoot professionally, I would definitely say to put in the extra & go for the D80. You won't be disappointed.

I don't give lessons, but I would love to answer any questions you have. I started out the same way. You can email me at lukehunter@comcast.net & I'll share any knowledge I have.

P.S. I would love to see your work! Do you have a blog?
